Chicago Wolves
I began working as the Video Content Coordinator for the Chicago Wolves in July 2023. In this role I am responsible for the creation of video content that is used during the games, on the team’s social media page, for television and radio advertisements, and other avenues. Consequentially, I work directly with many departments across the organization from marketing and public relations, to game operations and ticket sales. Depending on the project my responsibilities often include production, filming, postproduction, and distribution. In addition, I also care for all video and production equipment, manage our content library, and oversee the team’s YouTube page. Examples of my work with the Chicago Wolves can be found here.
Tennessee Titans
During the 2020 NFL season I served as a video assistant for the Tennessee Titans football club. As a video assistant, I filmed all practices and games for coaches, players, and scouts to review and evaluate. Additionally, I assisted in maintaining the team’s digital video library and creating video playlists for coaches and scouts using XOS video system. In Tennessee I worked closely with coaches and high ranking team personnel to coordinate video coverage of everything that was needed for the team to perform at the highest level.
Miami Dolphins
During my two seasons with the Miami Dolphins I worked as a video assistant in the coaches’ video department. Duties fo this role included filming all games and practices for coaches, players, and scouts to review, maintaining the organization’s video library, creating playlists for coaches, players, and scouts, and more. I also offered technical support for the coaching staff as needed. While the majority of my work with the Dolphins was technical video, I did have the opportunity for some post-production work with the players every so often. Examples of the that work can be found here.
University at Buffalo Football
As the football video coordinator for the University at Buffalo football program it was my responsibility to manage the entirety of the football video department. In addition to filming, editing, and distributing all practice and video footage, I was also in charge of managing the department budget, hiring and managing student workers, communicating with opponents to coordinate video exchanges, provide technical support for the coaching staff, and more. I attribute much of my growth in leadership and management to the accomplishments I was able to achieve in this role. One example of those accomplishments was the weekly highlight video I was able to create on top of many other concurrent projects. Examples of those videos can be found here.
University of Nevada Las Vegas Football
At the University of Nevada Las Vegas I worked as the assistant football video coordinator and my main responsibilities were creating video content for social media and in house. It was my job to create a pregame hype video for the team to watch before every game and to produce video content to promote the team on social media as well. This was my first role that was extensively post-production. Prior to this position I had limited experience with the Adobe suite but as I grew in this role I became more and more confident in my abilities. Examples of my work with the Rebels can be found here.
Monmouth University Football
At Monmouth University I worked under head coach Kevin Callahan as the football video coordinator for the university’s football program. As the video coordinator I was responsible for video coverage of all games and practices, hiring, managing, and training student employees, exchanging video with upcoming opponents, and more. At times, I was also tasked with creating video content to promote the program for recruiting and other purposes.
Detroit Lions
My first professional athletic video position after graduating was as an intern in the Detroit Lions’ coaches’ video department. With the Lions I assisted in filming and editing all game and practice video, transporting the team’s video equipment to and from all home and away games, maintaining the coaches’ video library, and helping with the setup and maintenance of meetings rooms, and more. My time with the Lions opened my eyes to the world of sports video and instilled a passion within me that has been present ever since.
